Things I wish I had known earlier: Application tips for gennails 💅✨
If you're thinking about doing your own nails, there's a lot to consider. Often it's the little things that make the biggest difference. In this blog post I share some valuable tips that I wish I had known when I started. Let’s dive right in!
Choose the right tip size 🤔
Choosing the right tip size is crucial. The tip should fit perfectly from side to side on your nail. If the tip is too big, it will go over your nail, and if it is too small, it won't completely cover your nail.

Fill the tips correctly 🖌️
Now we come to one of the most important steps: filling the tips. To get the right amount of gel, I apply a thin layer and sweep the brush along the edge. It is important never to press the tips directly onto the nail. Instead, you should lift the tip slightly, place it on the cuticle and let the gel flow forward.

The technique of application 💧
Place the tip on the cuticle and let the gel flow forward. Hold the pressure and let it harden for sixty seconds. If you notice bubbles under the tip, you probably didn't use enough gel. In this case, just use a little more gel to avoid these bubbles.

Too much gel? This is how you deal with it! 🚫
If you have used too much gel and it runs out the sides, you should file it away if possible to prevent lifting. It is important to make sure that the amount of gel is just right to achieve a perfect result.
